Matcha arbata


  • Ceremonial grade matcha or high-quality culinary matcha powder
  • Sweetener of choice (e.g., honey, agave syrup, sugar) - to taste


1. Prepare the Matcha: In a cup or matcha bowl, sift 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder.

2. Add Sweetener (optional): If you want your matcha latte to be sweetened, add your desired amount of sweetener to the cup or bowl with the matcha powder (recommended sweeteners include honey, agave syrup).

3. Pour in Hot Water: Pour a small amount of hot water (about 50-90 ml) into the cup or bowl. Quickly whisk it with a matcha whisk or bamboo matcha brush until the mixture becomes smooth and slightly frothy.

4. Stir and Enjoy: Whisk the entire contents of the glass until the matcha is fully blended and attains a uniform green color.
