Matcha brownie


  • 110 g white chocolate
  • 110 g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 120 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 60 g brown sugar
  • 2-3 teaspoons culinary matcha powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  1. In a saucepan, add water and place a glass bowl over it in such a way that the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl. Heat the stovetop and put finely chopped white chocolate, butter, matcha powder in the bowl. Stir everything until it becomes a smooth mixture.

  2. While the mixture is melting, in a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Gradually add white and brown sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and beat for about 8 minutes until the mixture becomes thicker.

  3. Pour the beaten eggs into the melted chocolate mixture and mix everything well.

  4. Mix the flour with baking powder and fold it into the matcha-chocolate mixture, stirring until everything is well combined.

  5. Pour the prepared batter into a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (about 356 degrees Fahrenheit).

  6. Bake for 28 - 33 minutes, depending on how soft you want them.
